Arthur knew that Eames wasn't giving up; please, the man had been more persistent in getting Arthur to watch 'Casablanca' with him. Eames never just "gave up". At least not for very long.

Arthur didn't respond, just leaned back and signaled to his waitress he wanted another refill. He knew this wasn't over. As long as he and Eames were even in the same five mile radius, the other man would not leave Arthur completely alone.

Oh yes, Arthur was definitely going to be ordering a third drink. Maybe even a fourth before he decided to leave and head back to the hotel.
