"Of course." There was no hesitation in the reply, "Especially now that I know why you did." He didn't have quite the whole story, but he had a good deal more of it now than he'd had when it happened, and even if he hadn't known, he still would have forgiven and tried again.
There was a gentle shrug then, still studying Arthur closely, just in case he was going to wake up from this any minute, "I'd quite like to try again, if you're willing. If not, well, I'd rather have you as a friend than an enemy. Don't think we'd really be much good at being enemies, been too much life between us."
